Barentu Travel & Tours – Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Barentu Travel & Tours. The following terms and conditions outline the agreement between Barentu Travel & Tours and our customers. By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms.

General Information

Barentu Travel & Tours reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. We advise you to review these terms periodically. For convenience, you may want to print a copy to bring with you during your trip.

Booking and Payment

All prices for tours are quoted in British Pounds (£). The total tour price, including any required deposit, must be paid in British Pounds. Additional costs such as visa fees or other incidental expenses can be paid in US Dollars ($), British Pounds (£), or Euros (€) upon your arrival in Eritrea. Please notify us ahead of time if you have a preferred currency, and we’ll assist you with the correct fees based on your choice.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.

Deposits are non-refundable and cancellation charges apply as follows:

• More than 30 days before departure: You will receive a full refund, minus the deposit.

• 15-29 days before departure: You will receive 80% of the tour cost, excluding the deposit.

• 8-14 days before departure: You will receive 50% of the tour cost, minus the deposit.

• 7 days or fewer before departure: No refund is provided.

Once the tour begins, no refunds will be given for unused portions of the trip. Any changes made during the tour may incur extra charges.

Privacy and Data Protection

Barentu Travel & Tours collects only the necessary information to process your booking. Your personal data is kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties, except where required for travel arrangements. Travel Documents and Permits

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have all valid travel documents, such as passports and visas. We provide assistance for obtaining Eritrean visas, including visa-on-arrival options. For travel beyond 25 km from Asmara, we also assist in securing necessary travel permits at no additional charge.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance. This should cover medical emergencies, cancellations, and lost or stolen belongings. Barentu Travel & Tours is not responsible for any accidents, delays, injuries, or loss of property during your trip.

Changes to Itinerary and Cancellations

While we strive to maintain the planned itinerary, Barentu Travel & Tours reserves the right to make changes due to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather or safety concerns. If changes occur, we will inform you and, where possible, offer alternative arrangements or refunds.

Language Preferences

Our standard tour services are provided in English. If you require a different language, please let us know when making your booking, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences.

Medical and Accessibility Needs

If you have any medical conditions or special accessibility requirements, please let us know when booking. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs, but please note that some tours may have limitations. Please ensure that your specific requirements are clearly communicated prior to booking.
